In the first of the two above shots, the idea was to have the feel of the 

light streams passing through the entrance to the station. To give the effect 

of the light moving into the space showing the tracking of movement.

 

In the second, I am portraying the illusion of movement in the background

behind me, as though I am caught in time as the world passes me by.
